Equipment and Software for CAPI/CATI

OrQuest uses SurveyCTO (www.surveycto.com), a professional version of Open Data Kit (ODK) for conducting the quantitative survey. SurveyCTO has following two modules:

1. SurveyCTO Collect used as enumerator application to fill-in the electronic questionnaire. It collect data offline with the SurveyCTO Android app, or online with the universal web interface. It enables to submit data securely with the help of multiple layers of encryption and data redundancy.
2. SurveyCTO Monitor that monitors incoming data in real-time, to catch any sign of trouble. Once set-up, it can also perform some automated quality checks.

Additionally, SurveyCTO supports checklist, radio button and drop-down menu. Enumerators can save the data collected at any point, and send finalized submissions to the server.
